Appoints Ken Kellstrom to Vice President of Sales
IT Veteran to Direct North
American Office and Expand Relationships in Defense
and Homeland Security Sector
McLean, VA – October 24,
2006 - Tenix America, a developer of
Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) based Cross-Domain
Solutions (CDS) for government and commercial
organizations, today announced that the company has
promoted Ken Kellstrom to Vice President of Sales,
North America. In
this role, Kellstrom will run Tenix
America
’s North American headquarters in
McLean
,
Virginia
, as the Australian defense giant continues to build
out its presence in the
United States
.

has been essential in bringing on 25 new customers,
and we’ll continue to look to his ability to drive
growth in the North American market,” said Steven

As Vice President of Sales,
North America
, Kellstrom will lead the North American office and
drive Tenix’s growth in the public sector, with
specific emphasis on the Department of Defense (DoD)
and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
In this capacity, he can capitalize on the
company’s high level of certification, where Tenix
is the first and only company to receive an EAL-7
from National Information Assurance Partnership
(NIAP), a U.S. Government initiative that works in
collaboration with the National Security Agency
(NSA) and the National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST).
Kellstrom has worked within the
government IT sales and solutions selling
environment for over 25 years.
His sales and leadership experience includes
a focus on security solutions as well as providing
strategic product positioning for various system
integrators. Prior
to joining Tenix
America
, he was Vice President of Sales at PLATINUM
Technologies. Additionally,
Kellstrom has held senior positions with Burroughs
Corporation (Unisys), National Cash Register
Corporation, Informix, and Entrust Technologies.
Last year, Kellstrom was critical to Tenix’s
revenue growth, which grew substantially in the
fiscal year ending June 2006.
